Prayer to Our Lady of the Visitation

Statue of the Visitation in the Heart of the WYD Press Center.

Our Lady of the Visitation,

You who left for the mountain to join Elisabeth in haste, lead us also to meet all those who await us So that we announce to them the living Gospel: Jesus Christ, Your Son and Our Lord!

We will hasten, without being distracted and without delay, In availability and Joy.

We will move forward serenely because whoever brings Christ brings Peace, Sure that the greatest well-being comes from acting well.

Our Lady of the Visitation, through your intercession, during these WYD we carry Christ, as you yourself did. These days are a time of Testimony and sharing, of Fraternity, of Thanksgiving, and an opportunity to reach out to those who are still waiting.

With you, we will walk this path of Unity so that our World too may be united in Fraternity, Justice and Peace.

Our Lady of the Visitation, help us to bring Christ to all, Obedient to the Father and in the love of the Spirit. »

The JMJ La Mennais France Team is also marked by this Text from Pope Francis

BE HAPPY…

“You may have flaws, be anxious and even be angry, but remember that your life is the biggest business in the World. Only you can prevent it from failing. You are Appreciated, Admired and Loved by so many people.

Remember that to be happy is not to have a Sky without Storms, a Road without Accidents, a Job without Effort, a Relationship without Disappointments.

To be Happy means to find Strength in Forgiveness, Hope in Battles, Security in Fear, Love in Discord.

It is not only to Enjoy the Smile, but also to Reflect on the Sadness.

It’s not just about Celebrating Success, it’s about Learning from Failures.

It’s not just about feeling happy with applause, it’s about being happy anonymously.

To be happy is not an inevitability of fate, but an achievement for those who can travel within themselves.

To be Happy is to stop feeling like a Victim and become the Author of your own Destiny.

It is to walk through the Deserts, to be able to find an Oasis deep in the Soul.

It is to thank God every morning for the Miracle of Life.

Being happy is not being afraid of your feelings and being able to talk about yourself.

Have the courage to hear a “NO” and to find confidence in criticism, even when it is unjustified.

It’s kissing your children, cuddling your parents, spending poetic moments with your friends, even when they hurt us.

To be Happy is to let live the creature that lives in each of us, Free, Joyful and Simple.

You have the Maturity to be able to say: “I made mistakes”.

It’s having the Courage to say I’m sorry.

It’s having the sense to say “I need you”.

It is having the ability to say “I love you”.

May your life become a Garden of Happiness opportunities…

may He be a Lover of Joy in Spring and a Lover of Wisdom in Winter.

And when you make a mistake, start over.

Because only then will you be in Love with Life.

You will discover that to be happy is not to have a perfect life.

But use Tears to Irrigate Tolerance.

Use your Defeats to Train your Patience.

Use your Mistakes with the Serenity of the Sculptor.

Use Pain to Connect to Pleasure.

Use Obstacles to Open Windows of Intelligence.

Never give up…

Above all, never Abandon the People who Love you.

Never give up on being Happy, because Life is an Amazing Show. “.
