CHILE – In-Person Meeting of the Divine Providence District Leadership Teams

Since the Creation of the Divine Providence District in 2019, the Leadership Teams have held their Training Sessions Online.

That In-Person Meeting was therefore a Great Joy for Everyone, allowing them to Strengthen their Bonds and further Consolidate the Network of Mennaisian Catholic Schools.

The Richness and Diversity of Educational and Pastoral Propositions from the District’s Educational Centers, resulting from Diverse Socio-Economic, Political and Religious Contexts, posed the Challenge of Thinking Together about the Animation of Mennaisian Educational Communities, based on the Identity linked to the Charism received from Jean-Marie de la Mennais!

It was within that Framework that the Work carried out during those Days took place. Vanessa Hernández, an Accredited Professional, helped Participants Discover the Importance of a Reference Framework for Management Teams, placing the Pedagogical and Pastoral Dimension at the Heart, thus going beyond a Purely Administrative Perspective and Promoting Charismatic Identity.

During the Sessions, and through various Activities (Conferences, more Theoretical Input, Case Studies, Workshops, Development of the Annual Operational Plan and Visits to the Mennaisian Educational Center in Culiprán), the following Topics were Addressed:

  • Reference Framework: to Allow the Charismatic Mennaisian Identity to be developed in all its Dimensions.
  • Self-Assessment: Develop Institutional Self-Assessment based on Real Data.
  • Implementation of Tools: Designing Valid and Reliable Assessment Tools for Education Management.
  • “Plan Operativo Anual de Mejora” (Annual Operational Plan for Improvement): Establish Areas for Improvement with Monitoring and Impact Evaluation.
  • Educational Leadership: Strengthening Educational and Pastoral Leadership through Practices based on Existing Data.

In summary, the Training Proposal aimed to foster a Culture of Progress based on Real Data and on the Autonomy and Effective Functioning of Management Teams. All Participants left convinced of the Importance of having a Shared Vision for Institutions, enabling the Promotion of an Organizational Culture based on Collaborative Work, Consensus on Practices and Motivations, and a Commitment to using Real Data.

Finally, we thanked the Mennaisian Family of Culiprán for their Warm Welcome, who thought of Everything and prepared Every Detail to make that stay a True Space for Encounter, Fraternity and Shared Growth.
