Fifteen Young People in Training to better serve from Monday August 3rd to August 10th, 2026 in the Premises of the Former TAURUA Islands Home.

Because the Safety and Development of Children depend on the Quality of their Supervision, the Mennaisian Family Youth Movement (MJFM) has chosen to invest in the Training of its Facilitators.
Fifteen young people from the MJFM thus participated in a BAFA Training Session, advanced level A1, specially organized for them. That Initiative reflects a Simple Conviction: Accompanying Children and Teenagers required Preparation, Skills and a deep Sense of Responsibility.
During that Training, the young People explored Several Essential Dimensions of their Mission: The Physical and Emotional Safety of Minors, the Construction of Suitable Activities, Teamwork, Group Management, Listening to and Supporting each Child.

That approach fully aligned with the Educational Intuition of Jean-Marie de La Mennais:
“Education is only half of your Task. We have to shape the Whole Person, to shape them for themselves, for their own Happiness, for their Family, for Society, for the Earth, and for Eternity.”
Training Youth Leaders is therefore not just about passing on Techniques. It is about helping them Grow themselves, so that they can then Support Young People in all Aspects of their Being.
For the MJFM, being a Youth Leader is a true Commitment. Those Young People give their Time, Energy, and Talents to serve Youth and Christ. Through their Actions, they participate in the Mennaisian Mission: To Educate, Guide, and make Jesus Christ known.

Jean-Marie de La Mennais reminded us that Education should touch the Heart as well as the Mind. That Vision still guides the Movement’s Actions Today. Every Activity, Every Moment of Sharing, and Every Encounter becomes an Opportunity to Transmit Values of Fraternity, Responsibility, Trust, and Service.
We Congratulate those Fifteen Young People for their Commitment, their Seriousness, and their Desire to Improve. Their Initiative is a beautiful sign of Hope for the Church and for Young People. As Saint Paul wrote to Timothy: “Let no one despise your Youth; set an example to the Believers in Speech, in Conduct, in Love, in Faith, and in Purity.”

In their own way, they respond to the call of Jean-Marie de La Mennais: To Form the Whole Man and to Lead Young People towards the Happiness of Knowing and Loving Jesus Christ.
