At the Initiative of the Mission Team and with the Help of “Reimagine Education”, a Group of 40 People with various Responsibilities in the 9 Mennaisian Centers in Spain, we met for 4 Days (at two times during the Months of March and April 2026), in Our School in Berrio-Otxoa, to Dream Together about Education in Our LaMennais Network.
“Reimagine Education”. Is a Reflection Team on the Evolution of Education, created by Xavier Aragay, Founder of the Oberta University of Catalonia and Director of the Jesuits’ Horizon 2020 Project in Catalonia.
With the Motto: “Together and Networked, Looking towards the Future”, we were accompanied by Javier Aragay and Amparo Chumacero, Educator and Education Specialist, to Develop a “LaMennais2030 Strategic Framework”.
Javier and Amparo both helped us in the Reflection and Work on the “Mennaisian Educational Project“, with a Strategic Vision geared towards the Future.
Through Periods of individual Work and Shared Reflection Activities, we allowed Ourselves to “Jirafear”: to Stretch Our Necks, Raise Our Gaze, to See Beyond and Far… (like a Giraffe!)
Working together, based on all Current Thinking on Education, on the Educational Purpose of Mennaisian Schools, and the Profile of La Mennais Students when they leave the Network, would allow us to Develop a Strategic Framework Document to Move Forward together on the Path that the “Educational Dream of Juan María de La Mennais” must take, so that the Mennaisian School responds to the Challenges faced today and in the near Future by Educators, Children and Young People, as well as Families in the La Mennais Network in Spain.
