On that August 23rd, 2026, the entire Notre-Dame de Kibeho District was Celebrating! Indeed, the Brothers Ange-Dieudonné TUYISENGE, Pierre-Célestin NIYONSEGA and Alphonse TWIZERIMANA made their Perpetual Profession, giving themselves to God Forever in the Congregation of the Brothers of Christian Instruction.
On Sunday Morning, August 23rd, many Guests, Brothers, Families, and Members working in the Schools in Rwanda, in Gisenyi, Nyundo and Kirambo flocked to the Ave Maris Stella Parish Church, Parish of the Brothers’ Community.

A Notable Absentee, Bishop Anaclet MWUMVANEZA of Nyundo, was unable to participate in that Great Celebration; being ill, he appointed his Vicar General to replace him: Bishop Jean Marie Vianney NSENGUMUREMYI.

The Celebration was well Organized and guided by a whole Team of Brothers, each fulfilling their Roles and Tasks. Almost Three Hours of Celebration… but the Atmosphere of Prayer, Joy, and Jubilation, visible on every Face, the Moments of Intense Emotion, and above all, the Quality of the Hymns led by the Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle Choir, made Time stand Still, and each Participant was able to experience a Foretaste of Eternity!

Brother Hervé Zamor, Superior General, received the Vows of the Three Brothers. Brother Damien Habimana, District Visitor, stood at his side. Also present, in addition to the District Brothers, were Brother Bruno Djukalema, the Superior General’s Delegate to Congo, and several Rwandan Scholastics from Abidjan and Kisubi who were on Holiday before returning to continue their Formation at their respective Scholasticates. The Secretary General, Brother Hervé Asse, also accompanied the Superior General.

After that Colourful and Musical Celebration, a Meal prepared at the Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle Centre brought together almost 400 People: Speeches, Gifts, Dances, Songs… all conducted in a Joyful Organization and Peace that delighted all the Guests.

I was deeply Struck by the Smiles on People’s Faces, the Youthfulness, the Welcoming Nature of Foreigners… and above all, the Heartfelt Appreciation for the Presence of the Brothers!”
May that Day, for the Brothers Ange-Dieudonné, Alphonse and Pierre-Célestin, remain a ‘White Stone’, not a Memory, but an Indelible Mark of God’s Love in their Lives.
On that Day, August 23rd, 2026, the Religious Calendar reminded us that almost 200 years ago, in 1827, Thirteen First Brothers Pronounced their Perpetual Vows of Obedience! May GOD ALONE accompany Our 3 New Perpetually Professed Brothers on that Path of Obedience, Poverty and Chastity, a Path, certainly of Choices and Trials, but above all of Joy and Self-Giving.
