From September 14th to 18th, 2026, the La Mennais College-High School in Papeete hosted a Summer Camp organized by the Mennaisian Family Youth Movement (MJFM). For five days,98 Children — 60 Primary School Students and 38 Secondary School Students —shared Games, Challenges, Meals, Gatherings and times of Prayer…
The New Feature of that Trip was the Daytime Program for Younger Children. Among the Participants,44 Children returned home in the Evening, while 54 also lived through the Evenings and Nights. That Option met the needs of Families who wanted to offer their Child a Real Summer Camp Experience while respecting their Child’s Pace.…
Young person at the CLM Chapel – Personal time
The Theme-K-POP DEMON HUNTER – Inspired by a Musical Universe Popular with young people, it gave momentum to the Adventure. But what marked the Week went far beyond the Activities: Learning to Work as a Team, Welcoming those who are Different, Finding one’s place in a Group, and Discovering what one can bring to others.
Each Morning, the Chapel at La Mennais filled with People for the Communal Offering. In the Afternoon, Prayer took different Forms depending on age. The Younger Children worked on Puzzles based on Biblical Stories; the Middle School Students discussed Topics relevant to their Lives, particularly Acceptance of Others and Forgiveness. On the Final Evening, Adoration with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament offered the Middle School Students a Powerful Time of Silence and Prayer.
The last Offering was celebrated in Homage to our Brother Jean-Pierre LE REST. He dreamed of seeing that Youth Movement born and of seeing Camps organized by a Mennaisian Movement within the La Mennais College-High School. Looking at the Young People gathered in that Chapel, we appreciated the Progress made and the Strength of that Dream come true. Thank you, Brother Jean-Pierre, for the Heritage you have left us.

That Camp also demonstrated the strength of a Path that continues year after year. Some Young People who were once welcomed as Children now return to serve as Animators. Among the High School Students involved in the Team are Current or Former Students of La Mennais. Seeing them take on Responsibilities with younger Children gives a concrete face to the La Mennais Educational Approach. Grow yourself, then Help other Young People Grow.
God Alone in Time, God Alone in Eternity.
