Meeting of the Treasurers in Rome, 2014
This meeting will be held in Rome from the 2nd to the 5th October 2017, at the end of the session of the General Council. The previous meetings took place in Uganda in 2009, and then in Rome in2014.
The General Chapter of 2012 had called for a reflection on international solidarity. The International Solidarity Fund is in the process of being set up. In 2014, the royalty was redesigned into two parts, basic fee and missionary fee. All these points deserve to be reviewed and prepared before the next Chapter of March, 2018.
This meeting will be preceded by the meeting with the “3 experts” appointed by the General Council in 2006: Mr Gilbert GUIHAIRE of France, Mr Gérard ARCHAMBAULT of Canada and Mr Javier BERASATEGUI of Spain. The latter will also participate in the works with theTreasurers.
