| Br. Hervé Zamor has just been Re-Elected this April 18th , 2024, by the 43 Capitulants, during the Chapter of Arricia, Italy, for a New Mandate of Six Years, i.e. until 2030. Here are the Stages of this Election.
Come Holy Spirit! A time of Invocation of the Spirit is experienced in the Chapel by all of the Capitulants this Thursday, April 18th at 4:30 p.m. “Come Holy Spirit, come into Our Hearts, come Holy Spirit, come Comforter.” Everyone then returns in silence to the Chapter Room. After reading the Text of the Rule of Life relating to the Election of the Brother Superior General by Brother Hervé ASSE, Secretary General, each Capitulant is called to vote by Secret Ballot. The Silence is Absolute.

| Br. Hervé ZAMOR, aged 56, was born in La Vallée, Haiti.
After completing his Novitiate and Scholasticate in France, Brother Hervé Zamor taught for a few years in Plaisance and Les Cayes in Haiti, then was a student in Angers and Rome. He was, in turn, Master of Novices for four years in Pétionville, then Superior of the Scholasticate of Abidjan in Ivory Coast and Teacher at CELAF. |
He was Appointed Provincial of Haiti, – St Louis de Gonzague Province – in 2010, a position he held while being President of the Haitian Conference of Religious, CHR.
He was Elected Superior General of the Brothers of Christian Instruction on March 17th , 2018 and Re-Elected on April18th , 2024
