Joy of the first vows pronounced last Friday, August 25th 2023, in the Chapel of Saint Claire in Ogaro, Togo. Brothers Éric MBOLIGIKPELE FATAKI and Richard MUSUMBA NGANZIYO, both from the DRC – Democratic Republic of Congo – made their First Religious Vows within our Institute.

Presided over by Father Pascal DJIBONGUE, Priest of the Saint Paul Parish of Nassablé (Dapaong), surrounded by six Priests, the celebration took place in the presence of Brothers from Togo, Benin and Senegal, Religious men and women, Friends and Acquaintances of the future Professed as well as the Christian Community of Ogaro. All the Participants surrounded the two Brothers with their affection, praying for them and with them.

After their dialogue with the Superior, Brother Eric and Brother Richard freely pronounced, in the hands of Brother Jean-Baptiste NDIAYE, Visitor of Saint-Paul District of West Africa, their Vows of Obedience, Chastity and Poverty for one year according to the Constitutions of our Congregation.

If there was no shortage of cheers when the Newly Professed presented themselves to the Assembly after their Vestment, joy overflowed at the end of the Mass. Brother Jules TONE read a concluding message from, and Bro Richard addressed a word of thanks. The celebration continued at the Agricultural Training Center – CARTO with Fraternal Feasts and Festive Songs.

Let us carry the Newly Professed in our prayers. May the Virgin Mary accompany them!

Entry at the Novitiate of 8 Young people

The day before, Thursday August 24th 2023, the Entry at the Novitiate of 8 Young people took place in the Oratory of the Novitiate of Dapaong, Togo. They are Martin (DRC), Emmanuel (DRC), Elie (Benin), Innocent (DRC), Laurent (Togo), Elie (DRC), Kevin (Benin) and Thomas (Togo).

They were welcomed into the Congregation by Brother Jean-Baptiste NDIAYE, Visitor of the Saint-Paul District (West Africa). Note that there is a Ninth young person who will join the group shortly.
