On March 14th and 15th , the Community of the Brothers of Madrid hosted two Meetings, one organized by the Pastoral Care of Vocations of the Province and the other bringing together Volunteers from the different Headquarters of the NGO SAL in Spain, about Fifty People in total, to Live and Share together.
TRAINING MEETING FOR SAL NGO VOLUNTEERS

Eucharist shared with the Community of Brothers, Young People and Volunteers

The Training Day organized by the NGO SAL, under the Direction of Emilio López Salas, offered Volunteers Time and Space for Reflection and Learning, drawing on the FOESSA* Report and the Analysis of New Social Realities. We explored the importance of Building Connections and Creating Bridges, because where Relationships are built, Exclusion becomes Reversible, while when Connections are Broken, Dependency increases.
During the Training, we worked on Ways to stay motivated in Our Work, Learning to Recognize, Interpret and Choose to be more “Gardeners” and not “Process Owners”.
We were encouraged to Cooperate rather than Compete, to put the Market in its proper place, and to always place Human Beings at the Center, the Source of Hope. For no one was saved Alone; Hope was built Together.

Group Works
Today more than ever, we were called upon to Listen, Support, and Transform, bearing Witness to Hope every day. We have also Reflected on the Importance of Promoting Participation, Strengthening Networks, and Committing to Responsible Consumption.
It was also a Time for Volunteers from different places to Reconnect, with Moments of Training, Dialogue, and even Coexistence and Tourism around Madrid.

Work done during Training
A Different Kind of Weekend, Full of Energy, Unity and Solidarity, shared with people who lived the same Vocation in Service to others.

MEETING OF YOUNG MENNAISIANS (PASTORAL OF VOCATIONS)
The Menesiano Community and College in Madrid were in a State of Great Activity, while also seeking Places and Times of Silence… to continue growing as a Mennaisian Family!
A Meeting with 9 Young People and 3 Chaperones to Reflect, Pray…

Young people and Brothers of the Community of MADRID: Meeting on Vocational Ministry
Time for Silence, Listening to the Word, Music with Lyrics by Jean Marie de la Mennais, Times for Physical Activity, Prayer together, Testimonies from Missionaries, illuminated Night Walks…
Understanding the many Dimensions of Humanity… Our Deepest Vocation… what are we called to? What are Our Connections, Our Commitments, and Our Future? Our Selflessness? Where is Our Heart? What have we learned from other Witnesses? Do we place Jesus of Nazareth at the Center of Our Lives?
Knowing how to Listen to the Community of Brothers and Sisters and sharing Our Experiences was a Precious Gift for us. God always surprised us through others. What Human Richness, what Hope!
