Tutti Fratelli Meeting in Rome, November 29th , 2025
IVORY COAST: ABIDJAN:
“These Images and this Audio are from the Great Novena dedicated to Father de la Mennais. Yesterday, the Community of the Abidjan Scholasticate, in keeping with its Cultural Diversity, celebrated Father de la Mennais. The Vicar of the Parish of Our Lady of the Incarnation, the Chaplains, and Religious Men and Women joined us in giving thanks. The Lay Members of that Family were also present.”

And after the Office of Wine, we proceeded to the Office of Wine. It was a moment of Joy and Fraternity, a Rainbow of Colors. May Father de la Mennais continue to watch over his Brothers and Lay People for a more Fraternal World.

ROME: TUTTI FRATELLI Meeting

As every year, the Brothers of the Tutti Fratelli Group, promoted by the Superiors General, invited all the Religious Brothers of Rome to the Traditional Annual Meeting on Saturday, November 29th, 2025.
More than 80 Religious responded to the Call. A very Beautiful and Powerful Address was given by a Peruvian Brother, Brother Ugo, of the Christian Brothers, on the Culture of Encounter so dear to Pope Francis: “An Invitation to work on the ‘Culture of Encounter,’ in a simple way, ‘as Jesus did’: not only by Seeing, but by Looking; not only by Hearing, but by Listening; not only by Passing People, but by Stopping with Them; not only by Saying, ‘What a Pity, Poor People!’ but by Allowing Oneself to be Moved by Compassion; ‘and then Approach, Touch, and Say, “Do not Weep,” and give at least a Drop of Life.’” (Pope Francis)
That Intervention was followed by Small Group Discussions on how that Culture of Encounter could change Our Encounters in the Community and with others around us.
The Day ended with a time of Prayer and a Meal shared among the “Fratelli.” That was a way of concluding the Mennaisian Week, bearing witness to Our Vocation as Brothers.

ROME: Meeting of the Union of Superiors General (USG) with Pope Leo XIV

The Meeting of the Superiors General with Pope Leo XIV inaugurates that 104th Assembly
“The Digital World opens Great Possibilities also in the Field of Evangelization, allowing us to reach all people, even those whom we ordinarily struggle the most to reach.”
So says Don Mario Zanotti, Secretary of the Union of Superiors General (USG), in an Interview with SIR after the Audience granted by Leo XIV to the Participants of the 104th General Assembly.
“Through the Digital World we could enter into Communication with Distant People, with whom it would otherwise be difficult to communicate,” Don Zanotti continued. In his remarks, he also highlighted the need to Pay Attention to the Risks connected to the use of Technology »

“The Main Issue was believing that Human Relationships could be replaced by Relationships mediated by the Digital World, by Computers, and by Technology.” Hence his Reference to Places that are essential to Religious Rife: “All Places intended for Encounter remained Fundamental—especially those designed for Dialogue, Discussion, and Decision-Making—such as Chapters, Community Meetings, and All Gatherings necessary for Listening to one another while looking Each Other in the Eye and building Direct Relationships.” The Digital Theme also concerned Formation: At times, Few Candidates—even Just One—might find themselves living a Form of Training that becomes Individualistic. We try to create Relationships among Candidates, and above all, Human Relationships.”
