As every Year, after the Feasts of Commitments, Renewals of Vows and Jubilarian Brothers at the beginning of January, the Province of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus gathers its Brothers in General Assembly.
It was held on Saturday, January 24th, 2026, at the Nabinoonya Resort Beach site, on the shores of Lake Victoria.
That Assembly of the Brothers is always An Opportunity to launch a New Year, before the start of the Academic Year (in early February). “It was experienced in a Spirit of Fraternity, Responsibility, Openness, Transparency, and Thanksgiving for all that was lived in 2025.” (Brother Casio, Provincial)

That Assembly provides An Opportunity to Review the Major Events of the Year and all the Signs of Vitality in the Province; here are a few:
- Opening of a New Mission at the Comboni College of Lira.
- A Call to strengthen Relations with the C
- Organization and Encouragement to Intensify Fundraising for the Centenary Year and the various Centenary Celebrations – including the Closing Celebration in September 2026.
- At the beginning of this year, mention was made of the Four Brothers who responded to the Call of a Missionary or Congregational Service: 2 are currently in Paris, another has just joined East Timor, and finally another young Brother would prepare for a Time of Mission in South America.
- Increase in the Number of Student Brothers.
- A Call to respond positively to Community Projects and to take up the Theme of the Year that the Congregation has prepared for this New Y
- Stimulating Vocations Missionary Experience, Opening of New Missions in the Peripheries, On Going Formation Programs, The South Sudan Mission, Expansion of the Postulancy to respond to the Growing Number of Vocations

It was also an Opportunity to present the Management of the Province, The Financial Situation, The Projects, and The Challenges. Etc.
It was also an Opportunity for the Provincial Superior to honour some Brothers: in particular the Brothers who celebrated their Silver and Gold Jubilees, the New Graduates of the year and the Brothers who have just retired in Recognition of their Exceptional Services.

At the End of the Meeting, the Brothers shared a Fraternal Meal before returning to their Respective Communities.
