On 22nd November 2025, at Our Lady of Assumption Schools Rii-menze, we had the opportunity to have the Visit of the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambiyo, Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala.
The Activities of the Day marked OUR FOUNDER’S DAY.
The Bishop, Mgr Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala, came to Administer the Sacraments of 1st Holy Communion of 26 pupils, and Confirmation of 47 pupils plus 150 young people from Our Parish of Rii-menze.
On the same occasion he blessed the 38 Primary 8 Candidates and 56 Top-class pupils who graduated to Primary 1.
The ceremony was very Colourful in the Open Air Tents. The day was warm. Many Parents were present especially those whose children received the Sacraments, the Candidates and Top Class.
After Holy Mass a number of Speeches were made followed by a Very Delicious Traditional Meal to all who were present accompanied with Entertainment. Then Parents and Visitors were free to leave at leisure.
