RWANDA – Kirambo: Educational Partnership

From 4th to 19th February 2026, An Educational Partnership took place in Kirambo (Rwanda) between French High School Students from Lycée St François d’Assise in Savenay (France) and Rwandan High School Students from Kirambo. Brother Olivier MIGOT, who accompanied the Group, told us:

“Welcome to the Teacher Training College (TTC) in Kirambo, a Mennaisian Teaching College that trains Future Teachers in Rwanda!

That was the Fourth Year that the Lycée Saint François d’Assise in Savenay (France) had built an Educational Partnership with the TTC: what better way for French and Rwandan High School Students to meet than through that Teaching Service?

We were welcomed with a Wonderful Family Spirit into the Community of Six Brothers, in their Home, as if we were Old Friends.

For Two Weeks, 16 Young French People were introduced to the Teaching Profession in that Spirit of Brotherhood, which was truly conducive to that Shared Mission. Like the Rwandan High School Students, each young person from Savenay completed their Internship in Nursery and Primary School Classes in Three Schools where they could apply, Experiment and Learn about Teaching.

It was also a Real Introduction to the Spiritual Life of a Teacher and to the Interculturality that Our World so badly need.

No amount of thanks was enough for all the Support given by the Rwandan Brothers which touched the Young People’s Hearts.
