The Teachers of the School St Jean-Paul II of MBUGANGALI celebrated Christmas with all the Staff of the School
December was mostly a Month of Festivities and Celebrations. Students who had finished their Exams returned home. Teachers and Staff at Our Institutions celebrated Christmas and the New Year. The Local Religious Community also gathered for the Holidays.

The Retreat of the Brothers and Sisters brought us to the Gisenyi Retirement Home. Food Donations were offered to those people served by the Bizera Mariya Sisters.

At Christmas Mass the Children participated a lot as Actors, Dancers, Musicians, Choir Members, Altar Boys: the atmosphere was very festive and the Priest very enthusiastic. Music and Choir provided Excellent Entertainment for the very Large Crowd at the two Masses of the Night.

The School Principal greeted each and every one of them personally before they entered the Room. Christmas Greetings were exchanged and everyone wished each other a Happy Holiday, even though Our Graduating Students returned three days a Week to perfect their preparation for the End-of-Year Exams.

A Retreat was held for VJN Staff to review the Past Year and make the Necessary Resolutions for the New Year. The Reflection given by a Priest ended with the Eucharistic Celebration.

All VJN Staff gathered around the Executive Director to celebrate Christmas. The VJN Management Team was at the Head Table to thank each of the Members. The Entertainment included a Joyful Dance to highlight the Joy of Christmas.

VJN’s Group of Musicians was in high demand during the various Holiday Season Events. The Dance Troupe also participated in Numerous Events, especially with the Gisenyi Exhibition.
FIC BROTHERS OF RWANDA
The Brothers from Our Three Communities gathered in Gisenyi to celebrate Christmas Day. There was no shortage of Joy on that Day: Laughter, Songs and Dances accompanied all the Meals and Drinks of the Day’s Gatherings. The General Assembly of the Brothers on December 26th provided an Opportunity to recall the Challenges facing the Community. The Decisions have been postponed, but their preparations in Committees have been decided.

KIRAMBO: INTERNATIONAL TEACHERS’ DAY 2025
On December 12th, 2025, Teachers from the Sector gathered to celebrate International Teachers’ Day at the ENP/TTC KIRAMBO, chosen as the Official Venue for the Festivities. The Day was held around the Theme: “Rethinking Teaching as a Collaborative Profession”, highlighting the Importance of Teamwork, Sharing Experiences and Solidarity among Education Stakeholders.
The Morning was marked by Heavy Rain, which fell continuously until 1:00 PM. As soon as the Weather calmed down, the Teachers began to arrive gradually at the place of the Celebration, in an atmosphere of Joy and Determination, despite the difficult Weather Conditions.

The Secondary School Teaching Team – The Primary School Teaching Team
One of the most anticipated moments of the day was the Volleyball Match between Secondary and Primary School Teachers. That Sporting Event took place in a Spirit of Camaraderie, Respect, and Healthy Competition, strengthening the bonds between Teachers from different Levels.
The Celebration continued with the Recognition Ceremony, during which Outstanding Teachers were honored for their Dedication and Remarkable Performance. As a Token of appreciation, they were presented with a Cow, a Symbol of gratitude and Social Recognition. In addition, the Schools of Excellence received Certificates attesting to their commitment to Quality Education.
The Day concluded in a Convivial Atmosphere over Lunch, allowing participants to freely exchange ideas, strengthen Professional Relationships, and celebrate together the Noble Mission of Teaching. (Br. Christian)
