The Paschal Mystery at the Heart of Our Realities as Congregations
Many of Our Institutions are going through Dark Times where the feeling of Walking in Darkness is sometimes Stronger than the Light that guides us. The Temptation would then be to Lament, to Weep like Mary Magdalene at the Tomb, to remain Nostalgic for a past Grandeur, to cling to the Sparks of life without perceiving the Fire of the Risen Christ that already burns within us.
Still in the Passion and the Pain, or even in the time of Holy Saturday and in the Great Silence, let us ask for the Grace, for one another, to discern the Lights of Easter which Warm, Guide, and Give Life beyond anything we could imagine.
Let us open Our Eyes and Our Hearts to awaken from Our Slumber and perceive what was already bursting forth as a Gleam of Resurrection. All those who work alongside us are like Little Stones marking Our Path, thanks to the many Steps taken by each and every one of them, thanks to the many Resources deployed to Help and Support us… Through Our Openness to others, God Opens a Way before us. How could we not give thanks!
This is the time when God is in haste:
With His hand He covers the Waters,
He draws from it a New World.
Life is resurfacing everywhere! (Didier Rimaud)
