Part of the FICP Delegation to the Jubilee of Consecrated Life in Paris
In June 2023, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life wrote to the Presidents of the National Conferences of Religious Life inviting them to combine the word “Hope” with the word “Peace”.
The CORREF (Conference of Religious Men and Women of France), in response to that Invitation, proposed Celebrating the 2025 Jubilee over two days, on September 6th and 7th , 2025, in Paris, around several significant Places such as the Saint-Eustache Church, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Saint-Sulpice Church.

Sister Simona Brambilla, Prefect of the DIVCSVA
16 Brothers of the Province of St. John the Baptist decided to join the 800 Religious Men and Women who traveled to Paris to participate in those two days of Celebration and Reflection. Among the Religious present, we were one of the Largest Delegations in terms of the Number of Participants!
The Brothers appreciated the Meetings and Rich Exchanges that took place over the two days, especially during the Sunday Morning March through the Streets of Paris. They left with a Strengthened Conviction of the Prophetic Power that Religious Life represented at the Heart of that World.
For that Meeting, Simona Brambilla, Prefect of the DIVCSVA, sent a Letter to all the Consecrated Persons who lived their Mission in France: “I encourage you to take the Path of life together, as Pilgrims of Hope, on the Road to Peace, allowing Ourselves to be drawn by that Hope that does not disappoint. May that Hope that we received from God, as a Gift from God, become Contagious through us to those who Seek it and Desire it.”
