
That School has become a National Benchmark School, through its Integral Human and Christian Education for Children and Young people (Nursery and Primary).
It celebrated the closing of the School Year on Friday, June 27th, 2025. One of the Special Features of the School was to take care of the Poor Children of the City, as it was located in a Poorer and More Overpopulated Village in the City of Gisenyi.

The Ceremony was marked by Performances from various School Clubs such as Traditional Dance, Modern Dance, Karate, Poems, Cartoons, etc.

Children who completed the Nursery and Primary Sections (CM2 or P6) wore Graduation Gowns to mark the End of the Cycle.

To encourage the children to work hard, the Top Two Children in Each Class received a Reward. Parents came out in force to attend the Ceremony and were proud of the Quality of the Education and Comprehensive Training provided to their Children.

Thanks to that, the Number of Children increased year by year, from 17 Children in 2016 to 1118 in 2025. It has become a Visible Sign of Hope within Rwandan Society.

RWANDA: Consecrated Life – a Single Conference of Major Superiors
“Synodality and Hope met in the Act of Approval, by the DIVCSVA (Dicastery for Consecrated Life), of the Statutes of the Conference of Major Superiors in Rwanda (COSUMAR) which was created on April 19th , 2025, thus uniting the Union of Major Superiors (USSUMA) and the Conference of Major Superiors (COSUMA).

These Two Entities came together to work together (synodality), hoping to go further in the Apostolate within the Church in Rwanda, while respecting and preserving the Character and Charisma Specific to each Institute.
To increase Visibility this year, COSUMAR dared to go out and visit Prisoners in their Respective Prisons, offering them Material Aid and Words of Hope (Mass and Words/Teachings). Other Initiatives were Underway: Development of Spirituality, Training of Future Consecrated Persons and Material Development to meet the Needs of Consecrated Life.
