On 30th<\/sup> January, to commemorate that Day, all the Schools of the Mennaisian Network in Spain celebrated the School Day for Non-Violence and Peace,<\/strong><\/em> by a simple Gesture in which the Educational Communities and Groups close to Schools were involved.<\/p>\n

Centre Zamora Joven<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

For example, at the Zamora<\/strong> Joven Centre, young people met with their “neighbours” of Caritas’ Project \u00abHombre\u00bb, with those who did a Reading (below) of the participants in the \u201cHombre\u201d Project read a Poem he wrote while in Prison. During that Commemorative Act, the Song “Super Heroes” by Beret was heard in background Music.<\/p>\n

Peace is an International Right that allowed all International Conflicts to be settled by Non-Violent means.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Peace means Unity, and it begins in the Heart of each one, and must continue in the Family and in the World.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Peace is Harmony, Love, Freedom, Respect, Cohabitation, Sharing, Helping and Transmitting the best of Ourselves. <\/em><\/strong>We must give Our best to Others.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

John Paul II said that Peace “would be the Last Word of History”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"The School Day of Non-Violence and Peace<\/strong> (or DENIP<\/strong>, acronym from Catalan: Dia Escolar de la No-viol\u00e8ncia i la Pau<\/em>) is an observance founded by the Spanish poet Lloren\u00e7 Vidal Vidal<\/em> in Majorca in 1964 as a starting point and support for a pacifying and Non-Violent Education of a permanent character.[1]<\/sup> Different as the first proposed by the UNESCO “Armistice Day” in 1948, DENIP is observed on January 30th<\/sup> \u00a0or thereabouts every year, on the Anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi, in Schools all over the World :\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
