On that September 22nd<\/sup> , 2024, the village of Kouadiadi\u00e8ne was seen with its best galas to accompany\u00a0 Brother Etienne Bernard FAYE who made his Final Commitment with the Congregation of the Brothers \u00a0of Christian Instruction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very early, the Parish of Saint Pierre Julien Eymard of Koudiadi\u00e8ne was invaded by a Joyful Crowd, composed by Friends, Relatives of Mont-Rolland, Fand\u00e8ne, Dakar, etc., Priests and Consecrated of the Diocese of Thi\u00e8s, Friends of the childhood that belonged to the same Generation as Our Brother. Were there to thank the Lord for the Opportunity of the Perpetual Vows of Bro Etienne.<\/p>\n

The Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Bishop Andr\u00e9 Gueye, Bishop of Thi\u00e8s, <\/strong>started at ten, and lasted for more than two hours, at the rhythm of the Liturgical Serer<\/em> Songs (Local language<\/em>). With Great Emotion (some tears did not fail to flow!) and Joy, and in the presence of his Brothers from the District, Bro Etienne Committed forever to following Christ who has seduced him since his first steps at the Juniorate of Thi\u00e8s in 2010.<\/p>\n

Bro Jean-Baptiste Ndiaye, Brother Visitor and Mgr. Gueye<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Mons. Gueye,<\/strong> in his Homily, thanked the Congregation for her contribution to Education in Senegal, since their arrival in November 22nd<\/sup>, 1841. To Brother Etienne, he reminded him the meaning of such a Ceremony: T<\/em>he<\/strong> Grace of having put his whole life in the hands of God Alone and of having accepted to follow Christ forever, in the service of the Education of children and young people. In that sense, he urged him to cultivate a Spiritual Life rooted in Christ and to make the Permanent Quest for Excellence the compass of his life as a Mennaisian \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Educator.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
