\u201cTogether Build\u201d is the <\/strong>T<\/strong>heme experienced by the 1053 <\/strong>S<\/strong>tudents of the Coll\u00e8ge Ste Marie de Vitr\u00e9, at the Jacques Duhamel Cultural Center during the 3rd<\/sup> <\/strong>E<\/strong>dition of Mennaisian Day on January 30<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> . It <\/strong>was<\/strong> inspired by the <\/strong>Y<\/strong>ear’s<\/strong> T<\/strong>heme of <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>the La Mennais France Network. Discovery of the many <\/strong>G<\/strong>uests and <\/strong>S<\/strong>olidarity <\/strong>A<\/strong>ctions carried out including a <\/strong>G<\/strong>ourmet <\/strong>C<\/strong>oncert this March 22<\/strong>nd<\/sup><\/strong> 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The common Theme of this day was Introduced by Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Roux, Brittany representative of the \u201cLes petits princes\u201d Association which allows Sick and Hospitalized Children throughout France to realize their Biggest Dream. The \u201cSainte Marie School Ensemble\u201d has decided this year to come to the aid of this Association and to help it Financially by organizing a \u201cGourmand Concert\u201d Evening in this same Cultural Center on Friday March 22nd <\/sup>2024.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Profits from this Evening will be divided between the APEL Parents’ Association and the Little Princes Association. Many students were touched by this presentation and were able to ask many questions.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet us all stand together in the face of <\/em>O<\/em>rdinary <\/em>S<\/em>entences\u201d<\/em><\/h2>\n

Students of Form 4 started the day with the Slammer Eureka. Coming specially from Lyon, he allowed the students to know a little more about the History of the Slam, from Creation to Interpretation and he allowed the 270 Students present to compose a Slam Together.<\/p>\n

Then, Andr\u00e9 Gouss\u00e9, Retired Middle School Teacher, came to present the History of Our School to Students of Form 6. Many questions, and a Cartoon retracing the History of Our Founder Jean-Marie de la Mennais closed this morning. A truly Historic Moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not the <\/em>S<\/em>treet that is poverty, it <\/em>is<\/em> its <\/em>C<\/em>onsequences\u201d<\/em>Collective of 6<\/h2>\n

At the beginning of the Afternoon, we welcomed \u201cThe Collective of 6\u201d. They lived on the Streets, experienced Addictions, and answered life’s Call to escape. After a short Film shot in Rennes, the students of Form 3 were able to talk with 5 Members of this Collective who came specially to meet us to testify about their Fight to get by. A Moving Moment.<\/p>\n

Brother James recounted his practice of <\/em>S<\/em>ports and presented the <\/em>M<\/em>omentum of the Olympic Games in France.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Finally, the Students of Form 5 welcomed Brother James Hayes. Brother of the Mennaisian Network, in the Community in Ch\u00e2teaulin (29), Bro James is a Passionate Sportsman and Volunteer at the Olympic Games. He awakened us to the Beauty of Sporting Achievement, taught us the Values of Paralympic Sport, and was able to share with us his Passion for Music.<\/p>\n

In parallel with what the Middle School Students were experiencing, the Sainte Marie School also spent a Mennaisian afternoon this January 30th<\/sup> . Several Brothers made the Trip to meet the students, who were able to learn a little more through a big game organized throughout the School.<\/p>\n

4 Brothers \u2013 here: Bros James HAYES, Gabriel DOUAUD, Jean-No\u00ebl LEBLAY, Henri-Marie BESNARD \u2013 were present at this beautiful day and involved in the <\/em>W<\/em>orkshops and the <\/em>B<\/em>ig <\/em>G<\/em>ame.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Finally, each student was able to leave with a message of Peace, written by a School or College Student on a kapla, some of which were used to build the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral in January.<\/p>\n
