\u201cI\u2019m surprised to be here!\u201d \u00bb assured F. Ren\u00e9 Ja\u00efn, when asked about what it means to him to be a Hundred Years Old. Are there any Secrets to getting to this stage? \u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d he continued. Are there Family Genes that explain the situation? Without a doubt. \u201cIt\u2019s a Family Specialty,\u201d commented Bro Louis Balanant, Archivist of the Province, during the Toast during the Meal, \u201csince you have Two Older Sisters over 100 Years Old: Germaine, 102 Years Old, here present, your cousin Anne, 104 Years Old, also present here and your Sister, Religious of the Holy Spirit, living in Ste-Anne d’Auray and aged 101 Years Old.<\/p>\n

In the Congregation you are on the 16th<\/sup> to Achieve this Feat of being a Centenarian and in France-England Province, you are the 3rd<\/sup> after Brothers Ren\u00e9-Maurice ALLORY and Alain PAUBERT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Places that marked his life? \u201cSt Anne la Palud,\u201d he assured us straight away, \u201cthen St-Pol de L\u00e9on where I have Good Memories.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Teaching Career then followed for 46 years: Plouvorn, Pleyben, Douarnenez, Audierne, St-Renan, St-Pol-de-L\u00e9on, Plogonnec, Tr\u00e9boul \u2013 where he remained for 19 years -, Roscoff: The Entire Journey took place in the Finist\u00e8re. You joined Josselin in 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n

His Family sang the Breton song \u201cKousk Breizh Izel\u201d Dors ma Bretagne\u201d, knowing their attachment to the Beauty of their Mother Tongue.<\/p>\n
