Brothers Daniel KOMBATE and Quenneth YANTICOA last Wednesday, December 28th<\/sup> ,2022, pronounced their definitive YES to engage themselves into the Congregation of the Brothers of Christian Instruction.<\/p>\n

The Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes of Albarik, in the Archdiocese of Parakou, Benin, hosted the ceremony presided over by Archbishop Pascal NKOUE, Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Parakou, together with \u00a0fifteen concelebrating priests.<\/p>\n

The two Brothers during the Litany of Saints.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

It was a prayerful and rich Celebration with Songs and Dances, which saw the participation of the Brothers of our Communities of Togo-Benin, Religious, Christians of both sides of the Diocese and of a strong delegation of\u00a0 Bro Daniel\u2019s Family from Togo.<\/p>\n

In his homily, the Bishop reminded the future Perpetual Professed that to follow Christ is to contemplate the Cross, the Cross on which Christ, the Son of God, accepted to die to save the human race. He humbled Himself by accepting all humiliations and doing in everything the Father\u2019s Will.<\/p>\n

They must not forget for a moment that Christ is their model, for it is His life form that they want to embrace forever: The Chaste, Poor and Obedient Christ. The Local Ordinary went on emphasizing that Consecrated life reminds us that beyond the three vows pronounced, there is the Community which is a richness and a peculiarity of Religious life.<\/p>\n

In Communion and committed to Education<\/h2>\n

He therefore invited the two Brothers not to forget that they are Brothers in a Community and thus they must live in Communion with the other members of the Community even when everything seems to go wrong.<\/p>\n

Bro John the Baptist, Brother Visitor and Delegate of the Superior General received the vows.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

After the homily, Bro Jean Baptiste NDIAYE, Visitor of the Saint Paul District of West Africa and Delegate of the Superior General, received the vows of Brothers Daniel and Quenneth on behalf of the Congregation and the Church.<\/p>\n

Before the final blessing, the Bishop did not fail to thank the Brothers for their active involvement in the Education and Instruction of young people and children in the Archdiocese of Parakou.<\/p>\n

The Brothers are at work and in charge of the Hibiscus Secondary School, and at the La Mennais complex, launched two years ago, which currently has Kindergarten and the first two levels of Primary Education.<\/p>\n
