Let us pray and sing on the occasion of\u00a0 St Joseph !<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church, Pope Francis published the Apostolical Letter \u00ab Patris Corde<\/strong> \u00bb on the figure of the adoptive Jesus’ father. It is in the context of this Jubilee that the Pope proposes to the whole Church the Year “Saint Joseph” from<\/strong> 8th December 2020 to the 8th December 2021.<\/p>\n

Evening Prayer<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In his letter to the Brothers and to the Mennaisian Family, last January, Bro Herv\u00e9 Zamor, Superior general, proposed together with the General Council to celebrate Vespers in honour of<\/strong>\u00a0 Saint Joseph<\/strong>, every first Wednesday of the month, – from January – as part of the Triduum of prayer for vocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

“May we live our fatherhood in the footsteps of St Joseph !” !<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0In every exercise of our fatherhood, we should always keep in mind that it has nothing to do with possession, but is rather a \u201csign\u201d pointing to a greater fatherhood. In a way, we are all like Joseph: a shadow of the heavenly Father, who \u201cmakes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust\u201d (Mt 5:45). And a shadow that follows his Son.<\/em> \u00bb (Patris Corde, no<\/sup>7<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Let us learn from Saint Joseph to make Jesus and Mary our most precious treasure ! \u00bb<\/p>\n
