The two newly professed Brothers Andreas Pito and Fransiscus\u00a0 Xaverius Gua Making<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

On this day during the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Bishop of Larantuka together with about fifteen concelebrants, Brothers Andreas Pito and Fransiscus Xaverius Gua Making<\/strong> made their perpetual vows before Brother Herv\u00e9 Zamor, the Superior General.<\/p>\n

It was the first time, since the mission was founded 20 years ago, to have indigenous Brothers take perpetual Vows!<\/p>\n

During the same liturgical celemony, 4 young Brothers \u2013 Brothers Adrianus, Fabrianus, Oswaldus, Zenobius-<\/strong> pronounced their first vows and Brothers Daniel Lefr\u00e8re and Gildas Prigent <\/strong>celebrated their 40 years of religious life.<\/p>\n

The 4 new professed Brothers in the traditional habit of their country.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

At the end of pronouncing\u00a0 the first vows<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

This celebration was also an opportunity for\u00a0 St Francis Xavier District to open the bicentennial year of the Congregation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Official opening of the Bicentennial in SFX district by Bro. Herv\u00e9 Zamor, SG and the Bishop of Larantuka, in the presence of Bro Gildas Prigent, Visitor of the District.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The celebration was held at the SDK La Mennais school’s sports field with the participation of more than 300 people, including many students from the school, their parents and school staff and La Pusat La Mennais.<\/p>\n

The Eucharist was followed by a time of entertainment by the students of the school and the Aspirants \u00a0or the young men in the pre-postulate and also there was a presentation of videos retracing the history of the mission of the Brothers in Indonesia and of the vocational paths of the two new perpetuants. And as it should be, the celebration continued with a meal shared by all the participants.<\/p>\n
