To all the Mennaisian members,\u00a0 Happy Bicentenary Celebration!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It gives us pleasure as the Fraternity of Ecole notre Dame des Ap\u00f4tres de Nyundo-Rwanda,<\/em><\/strong> to extend our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for having kept the candle of education and evangelization burning for these two complete centuries. We jubilate and celebrate a bicentenary of existence. It reminds us when the Brothers of Christian Instruction came into reality. This was on the 6th<\/sup> June 1819 <\/strong>at Saint Brieuc, when the two great men of God, Father Jean Marie de la Mennnais and His counterpart Gabriel Deshayes signed a memorandum of understanding to found the congregation of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, to respond to the urgent need of the time which was none other than education of the children and the youth of middle class.<\/p>\n

Our sincere thanks goes to all the majors Superiors living and our beloved ones who have gone before us, for having spread the seeds of mennaisian education and evangelization to all the corners of the world in the footsteps of the founders. We cannot rule out the tremendous contribution of the rest of the local superiors, brothers, mennaisian laity, children and youth of our schools, centers and institutions for living the mennaisian spirit in our mission.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, this is the time to celebrate and ring out our joy in songs of praise and thanksgiving to God, the All Giver for this bicentenary our existence. It is a time to look back and commit ourselves to the carrying on of this Holy mission in the light of the Holy Spirit. This is indeed the moment to get closer to God, to hear again his call and ask Him to give us more strength and courage to dare to go the peripheral for this noble cause.<\/p>\n

As we mark this precious event of our existence, hence, let us remember to keep trusting in God\u2019s divine providence and ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, the patroness our institute to keep interceding for us.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est ce que nous rappelle notre P\u00e8re fondateur, Jean-Marie de La Mennais dans l\u2019un de ses Sermons\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0L’instruction n’est qu’une moiti\u00e9 de votre t\u00e2che, l’\u00e9ducation est la principale<\/em> (\u2026) Nous avons \u00e0 former l’homme tout entier, \u00e0 le former pour lui-m\u00eame, pour son propre bonheur, pour sa famille, pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, pour la terre et pour l’\u00e9ternit\u00e9.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb. Ainsi donc, des activit\u00e9s sportives et culturelles sont men\u00e9es pour garantir et faire go\u00fbter aux apprenants et \u00e0 tous, ces valeurs du vivre et faire ensemble.<\/p>\n

Pour aller plus loin dans cette c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du bicentenaire la direction du C.S. J.M.M et son personnel en lien avec le th\u00e8me d\u2019ann\u00e9e \u2018\u2019Appeler des disciples\u2019\u2019 ont men\u00e9 des actions pour faire activer et susciter des vocations de fr\u00e8res chez les apprenants par la mise en place d\u2019un groupe mennaisien appel\u00e9 les J.M. \u00ab\u00a0Les Jeunes Mennaisiens\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong> De ce noyau nous esp\u00e9rons faire rena\u00eetre et revivre la figure de l\u2019ap\u00f4tre z\u00e9l\u00e9 et infatigable Jean-Marie de La Mennais.<\/p>\n

Nous sommes le comit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves de l\u2019institut Wando de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo (RDC) situ\u00e9 dans la province du Haut-U\u00e9l\u00e9 en territoire de Dungu (Nord-Est). Nous sommes heureux de souhaiter nos v\u0153ux d\u2019une belle\u00a0 f\u00eate du bicentenaire aux\u00a0 200 \u00e9coles mennaisiennes\u00a0 du monde entier.<\/strong><\/p>\n
