Finally, the third event for Walsh University: President Richard<\/strong> Jusseaume<\/strong> and his wife met Pope Francis on 10th<\/sup> May in Rome, in the Vatican, at the Wednesday Audience.<\/p>\n

This was an opportunity for the President to present the Student Award bearing the name of the Pope established to help students in difficulty. Richard Jusseaume-accompanied by Father Nathan Cromly and Derrick Wyman, Director of Strategic Initiatives at Walsh-is currently conducting a spiritual pilgrimage of 13 students from Walsh University in Italy and France. This special meeting was made possible by Archbishop Christophe Pierre, who visited Walsh University on April 30th.<\/p>\n

3,000 participants in the graduation of Students with Bishop Christophe Pierre and Bro. Charles Desjarlais<\/strong><\/p>\n

The graduation of 424 undergraduate and graduate students “Start Ceremony<\/em>” from Walsh University took place on 30th<\/sup> April in the presence of 3,000 people.<\/p>\n

The guest of honour was Bishop Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio from the United States,<\/strong> accompanied by Bishop George V. Murry, Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown and Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki, Bishop Arua, Uganda, a friend of the Campus.<\/p>\n

Another person honoured was Bro. Charles Desjarlais<\/strong>, who received the “Founders’ Medal” awarded to a person who embodied the values \u200b\u200bof Father de la Mennais and Father Deshayes. Especially the education of young people, especially the most neglected, and the transmission of faith.<\/p>\n
