INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL FOR INFORMATION

The Superior General, with the consent of his Council, has created an International Council for Information on June 4, 2009. This consultative council will be chaired by Mr. Michel Tanguy, Director of Information.

After consultations with the major superiors concerned, the following persons were appointed to be members of this Council for a term of three years:

• Br. Marcel LAFRANCE
• Br. Francis KIGGUNGU
• Br. Philippe BLOT
• Br. Guillermo DÁVILA
• Br. James HAYES
• Mr. Alfonso BLAZQUEZ.

The mission of this Council is to be a source of proposals and prospects, thereby contributing to the education of the Brothers, Laity and young people of the Mennaisian family regarding the media. It will also work towards the realization of the different tools of information of the Congregation and the Mennaisian family (La Mennais Magazine, Web Site, videos, publications).



INTERNATIONAL COMMITEE FOR SOLIDARITY

The Superior General, with the consent of his Council, has created an International Committee for Solidarity on June 1, 2009. This committee will be chaired by Brother Louis BALANANT, Treasurer General.

After consultations with the Major Superiors concerned, the following Brothers have been nominated to be members of this committee for a term of three years:

• Br. Louis BALANANT
• Br. Gerard BYARUHANGA
• Br. Lévi BOUDREAU
• Br. Guillermo DÁVILA
• Br. André RICHARD

The mission of this Committee is to spearhead the creation and management of a Solidarity Fund which the Congregation has decided to constitute.
