IN TANZANIA-KENYA

In 1972, the district of Tanzania-Kenya becomes a Vice-Province of Uganda. Today there are about 40 Kenyan and Tanzanian brothers.
Since 1931, starting with a school at Yala, the Canadian missionary brothers have emigrated to Kenya, and since 1948 to Tanzania. The political shock following the Independence of the two countries, was deeply harmful to the congregation development. The present calm encourages a new development.

KENYA
Opened by the Ugandan brothers in 1993, a secondary school functions well at Méru.
Recently a student residence was built in NAIROBI, near the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, where the Kenyan or Tanzanian young brothers can find a university formation according to their choice.

TANZANIA

Tanzania is rich in institutions entrusted to the brothers.
DAR ES SALAAM, since 1967, MOSHI, since 1979, have two important colleges run by the brothers.

At BABATI, the arrival of the brothers at the secondary college of Singe in 2001, makes possible an increase of the students, from 220 to 550.
A little more to the West, the brothers take charge of a college at NZEGA, while the community of Duluti, near ARUSHA, gives up a coffee plantation and builds a secondary college for the young people living in the vicinity.
